How do I return my order?

We’re sorry your order didn’t work out. All orders must be returned within 20 days of purchase for a refund. Returned item must be unworn, unwashed and in the same condition as they were received. Please note that a refund is not guaranteed if the merchandise does not meet these conditions. Upon arrival back to our warehouse, returns + refunds are processed within 7-10 days (2 weeks) and confirmation will be communicated via email. All returns are subjected to a $5.00 re-stocking fee.

Can I exchange my order for a different size?

We do not currently offer exchanges. If you’d like to make an exchange simply return the original unused item back to us for a refund and make a new purchase for the item you want through our website. All returns are subjected to a $5.00 restocking fee. 

When will my order ship?

Due to current restrictions put into place by the State of Florida, adjustments have been made to our warehouse operations and our fulfillments times are currently 5-7 business days. Although we try to fulfill your order within 24 hours. 

Due to high volume, USPS is expecting longer delivery days. Expected delivery times are currently 7-10 business days.

How does the “local pickup” option work?

Upon order confirmation, you may coordinate a time with us to pick up your merchandise via local pick up. Our warehouse is in South Florida. Please note that we are not a retail location or a store. So, you will need to coordinate with us via email to pick up. Please contact lab@oceantec-usa.com to pick up locally.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is processed, you will receive your USPS tracking number via email. You can track your order online at https://www.usps.com/manage/

What are the care instructions?

We recommend machine wash and hang drying your Ocean Tec-USA merchandise for a longer lasting life. Although, the dryer will not harm your products. 

What is the best UV protection rating? 

The best UV rating is UPF50, meaning it blocks 98% of the suns harmful UVA and UVB rays.

What is UPF rating?

UPF is short for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. This rating determines how effective a fabric is against protecting against harmful UVA & UVB rays from the sun. The higher the UPF rating, the better protected you are from the sun.

Will UPF rating lower after wash?

Absolutely not. The UPF rating is pre-determined based off the weave of the material. You can wash your shirt as many times as you would like and still receive the same UPF rating.

Are the fabrics eco-friendly?

Although our fabrics are not biodegradable or eco-friendly they do have a long use life. Meaning that they are not fast fashion, but high quality and meant to last for years. We do offer one eco-friendly fabric which consists of Bamboo. You can find this product here.

Are the fabrics treated?

Absolutely not! The weave of the fabric determines the UPF rating, not a chemical or treatment.

Placing an Order

Order Processing

All orders are fulfilled by our Warehouse located in Florida within 5-7 business days from the date of your order confirmation.  Please allow additional processing time during sale promotions or around US holidays.

We try to send out your order confirmation within moments of you placing an order. If you do not receive an order confirmation within 72 hours of placing your order. Please check your spam folder as it may have been flagged. And if you are still unable to locate your order confirmation, please contact lab@oceantec-usa.com

Order Change

We are unable to make any changes to an order or cancel it once it has been place. We are happy to assist you with returning an order once you receive it. FYI: shipping charges are non-refundable and there is a $5.00 restocking fee to return your order.

Order Cancellation

In the case your order was cancelled by us, due to a risk of fraudulent activity or the item you selected is no longer available, you’ll hear from us via email within 3 days of placing your order.

Product care

Our shirts are tested to meet standards for water and sun resistance. That means your shirt can handle some heavy wear and tear. Just a warning, Velcro can damage the fabric. So be careful when washing with things that have Velcro. Read more helpful tips on Product Care

Warranty

Ocean Tec-USA stands behind is merchandise with a six-month warranty on all products purchased from shop.oceantec-usa.com. That said, we are more than happy to handle complimentary repairs for issues resulting from manufacturing defects within six-month period. Please note that our repair warranty does not cover general wear and tear or defects that happen on merchandise produced over one year ago.

My Order

Damaged Items

Were so sorry your merchandise arrived in less than perfect condition. In the unlikely event that you have received an item that is damaged or incorrect please notify us. We will work with you to rearrange a return, replacement, refund or credit. Damaged items must be reported within 7 days of receipt. All damaged items should be reported to lab@oceantec-usa.com.

Checkout

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. We only charge you once you click Place Order button. We do not accept checks, cash or money orders online. If an error messaged appears after you clicked Place Order, then there may be an issue with your billing and or shipping information entered. Double check your entries.

Returns

If for any reason your are unsatisfied with your purchase from Ocean Tec-USA we accept returns within 20 days of the original purchase. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. Refund will be made in the form of original payment within two weeks of receiving the goods back into our warehouse. Any orders will be subjected to a $5.00 restocking fee which we deduct from the refund. Final sale items cannot be returned or refunded. Final Sale

Sale items are marked “Final Sale” and are not eligible for return. This applies to all Final Sale items on shop.oceantec-usa.com. Any products purchased during a promotional sale event are not eligible for return. Any purchases made using promo code indicated as Final sale are not eligible for return. Sale offers cannot be combined with coupons or other promotions. 

Order Shipping

We offer free USPS First Class Shipping for all continental U.S. orders over $100 USD. Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories receive free shipping for orders over $200 USD. Expedited shipping is available.

Tracking my Return

Refund will be made in the form of original payment within two weeks of receiving the goods back into our warehouse. Any orders will be subjected to a $5.00 restocking fee which we deduct from the refund. Please check your email for a Refund confirmation and follow up checking your bank account statement for the refund.
